RESIDENT ENGINEER - WATER PROJECTS - SLIGO
EMPLOYER
Our Client specialises in renewable energy, water supply, wastewater
treatment and in the provision of planning and environmental services.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract administration.
Preparing framework tender documentation.
To define the scope of works for projects, specifications and prepare
tender documents.
To review and amend the tender documents following internal review by
stakeholders.
To manage the tender period site visits and respond to tender
clarifications.
To manage agenda setting, attendance and managing of project progress
meetings including commencement meetings.
To undertake on-site design review, technical supervision and
commissioning.
To undertake management of risks, change requests, claims, budgets and
reporting as required.
To ensure compliance with HSQE requirements.
To ensure various administration exercises are completed in a timely
manner.
Any other duties as determined by the Capital Programmes Regional Lead
related to the delivery of the Water programmes defined in the Capital
Investment Plan
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical) and Equivalent professional
qualification (Or)
Hold a diploma in Construction Studies or Civil Engineering and have
extensive industry experience
Minimum of 7 years’ experience with preferably at least 5 years on
site in the role of resident Civil Engineer.
Design & Build experience would be an advantage
The ideal candidate would be a member or associate member of a
relevant professional institute.
Proficiency in the use of MS office and Auto Cad would be an
advantage.
Candidate must hold a clean driving license and have unencumbered
access to a suitable vehicle.
The candidate should hold appropriate safe pass and other relevant
site safety qualification (managing safely in construction)
